Direct Message in Twitter

me: Wanna write a long  Direct Message to my follower in twitter

Twitter: Hell no! 140 characters only!!!

But from August 12th, 2015 twitter has removed the 140-character limit from Direct Messages. Sachin Agarwal , the Product Manager of Twitter, wrote that' "  You can now chat on (and on) in a single Direct Message, and likely still have some characters left over" on his blog.

This change is being be rolling on Android and IOS apps on twitter.com, twitterdeck and twitter for Mac. the limitation of 140-character is still on for Tweets and sending and receiving Direct Message via SMS.
